You Can’t Miss This Place in Paris
We got back from Paris a few days ago and I’m already dying to go back. I’m working on a full post with everything we did there, but I did want to share a separate post on one of my favorite parts of Paris because I want to make sure you don’t miss it!

We got back from Paris a few days ago and I’m already dying to go back. I’m working on a full post with everything we did there, but I did want to share a separate post on one of my favorite parts of Paris because I want to make sure you don’t miss it! Ile Saint Louis was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Paris. I had the sense while we were visiting that part of town that not many people venture to the area. Aside from a few restaurants there admittedly isn’t too much to do there, but the houses and doors and streets are adorable – it can’t be missed. My advice would be to walk to île Saint Louis on your way to see Notre Dame, since they are just about right next to eachother.
We visited the day we got back to Paris from Annecy so we didn’t get there until around 4pm. The sun was starting to get lower in the sky and the way it was reflecting off of the buildings was so beautiful. The whole walk around the Island takes about an hour, tops, so after we felt that we explored enough, we sat down and enjoyed some drinks while we people watched. I love that in Paris you can sit down, anywhere, at any time and get a drink – whether it’s a coffee or alcohol. The culture is much more relaxed than I had expected. After 2 hours of people watching and a few glasses of wine (hey, I’m in Paris), the weather turned very chilly. I threw on my sweater, and we enjoyed some cappuccino before heading back to the hotel to figure out where to go for dinner! We loved this part of town so much we ended up coming back to île Saint Louis on our last night, and had dinner at Sorza, an Italian restaurant. I had delicious Creme Brulee! I have so much more to share about our trip over the next couple of weeks – can’t wait!
