This spring trend I’m most excited about are matching sets. Who knew my favorite type of outfit as a child would come back as a trend in my twenties. I don’t really consider myself as someone who follows trends on the reg. I really just like to wear what makes me happy, and what I feel most comfortable in – but this is one trend I will be 100% on board with this season. There is something so effortless about a matching set, and I tried it out first-hand on my vacation in Charleston. I loved this one by JOA (top and bottom). I felt so put together, even though the outfit as a whole was so easy.

We spent our first day in Charleston riding bikes around downtown to get a feel for what we wanted to do throughout the week. All of Charleston is really pretty, yet certain areas, of course are prettier than others! We really love downtown – as I’m sure many do; there are tons of great historic houses to drool over (like this pink one featured here). I felt like everyday spent wandering we learned something new about the district, which is always fun!  Each historic house has a plaque with detailed information about the house on it, which Jordan and I love reading. I could have spent all day wandering around the area but some of my favorite restaurants are uptown, so alas food controls me.
