Five Coffee Shops in NYC That Remind Me of Europe

What I love so much about Brooklyn and parts of Manhattan, is that culture circulates so heavily here. There are tons of places you can go that can instantly transport you to another world, or continent, for that matter.

Love for travel knows no boundaries

My love for travel knows no boundaries. When I’m home-based in Brookyln, I find happiness in many ways, but small coffee and pastry shops that remind me of some of my favorite places  (here, here and here) fill many voids that I find I’m missing when I’m not traveling. Because Brooklyn and Manhattan are such melting pots, it’s not hard to find brick and mortar cafe’s, restaurants or any eatery for that matter that emulates some place else.

I’ve picked five places that I love, in a few different areas of the city that are worth checking out if you’re ever here!

Cafe Martin – Park Slope, Brooklyn
Ciao, Gloria – Prospect Heights, Brooklyn
Buvette – West Village
Ferrara – Little Italy (Pastry Shop)
Le Petite Parisian – East Village
