A Packing List for Fall Getaways

The best thing about a road trip is that there is no weight-limit when it comes to stuffing your suitcase. As long as you can fit your packed duffel into the trunk of your car, and you, or your significant other can get it into your hotel / motel / suite / villa, you’re golden.

The best thing about a road trip is that there is no weight-limit when it comes to stuffing your suitcase. As long as you can fit your packed duffel into the trunk of your car,  and you, or your significant other can get it into your hotel / motel / suite / villa, you’re golden.  I’ve mentioned this before, but road trips are 100%  “the cool thing to do” right now. And Given the lack of comfort most are feeling with air-travel, road trips will likely remain a top to-do, well-into 2021, so buckle up.

We’re currently on our Cape Cod trip, and I’ve already started my packing list for our New Hampshire trip coming up in the next 2 weeks. I find that a well-planned trip just makes my life so much easier, and I’m thinking you might feel the same. I plan all of our trips well-in advance, but when it comes to packing, I typically procrastinate a bit. That said, I’ve been rounding up a lot of items for  our New Hampshire trip, and did a fair amount of planning for Cape Cod as well, so I figured I would share everything I’m packing in my suitcase this fall in an effort to help you better plan for yours.

I’m always torn on buying tall boots for fall, because I feel like I don’t necessarily need them as bad as I tell myself, but there is something about these western-chic boots that are calling my name. Maybe I will pair them with this fringe jacket? Oversized cardigans, and coats like this, this and this will also serve so many purposes this fall, and outside of our NH trip, I can’t wait for the weather to get a bit cooler in the city so I can wear them more.

Travel well! XO – Em
