Condé Nast Named Us a Top Travel Specialist—Here’s What We Told Them About What’s Next in Travel

This week we were honored to be named a Condé Nast Top Travel Specialist, and as part of this recognition, we shared insight on how new destinations are stepping into the spotlight—places once considered too remote, too unknown, or too difficult to reach, now thriving with new properties, new routes, and new reasons to visit. Here’s what we had to say about what’s next in travel.

There are so many new places to explore and experiences to have - places that didn’t have robust tourism infrastructure in the past

As we shared with Condé Nast, “The world hasn’t been this accessible in several years, and we would argue that the world has never been as accessible as it is now in 2025. There has been so much investment in developing destinations all over the world that travelers have never had as much access to the globe as they do now. There are so many new places to explore and experiences to have – places that didn’t have robust tourism infrastructure in the past. You don’t necessarily need to go as far as Antarctica or Bhutan to have that uncharted experience though. We’re at a point now where clients are taking a moment to decide not only where they want to go, but what type of experience they want to have. We are seeing travelers double down on purpose-driven travel with off-path and ”uncharted” experiences far and wide. Travel is becoming less about seeing a sight or just being in a place on normal vaca-mode, but rather traveling to a place to experience something specific. Being active, learning, trying something very new and very personal, and experiencing a special event for the first time are all at the forefront.”

Over on our Substack, we’re taking a deep dive into what we discussed with Condé Nast. Because travel isn’t just about where you go – it’s about how deeply you experience it. Not just being at a place, but being part of it. And that’s what we’re talking about in our latest piece. The shift. The why behind where people are going. The best trips aren’t just vacations, they’re immersive, intentional, and designed around moments that stay with you long after you’ve unpacked. If you’ve ever felt like a place called to you for something more—something bigger than just another pin on the map – head over to our Substack to read about what we told them is next in travel and some incredible destinations for you to consider! And of course, we would love to help you plan your next trip!
