Fall is simply the best time to visit Vermont. If you find yourself in Woodstock check out this 24-hour guide so you don’t miss the good stuff.

With no set schedule of our own, we took our morning slow

A Northeast leaf-peeping tour would not be complete without paying homage to one of the most beautiful fall states; Vermont. While the purpose of our recent trip was to spend time in New Hampshire, we decided it would be best to break up our long drive, and stay overnight in Vermont. Twist my arm, why don’t you! We spent 24 hours in Woodstock, VT, where we stayed at the gorgeous Woodstock Inn. If you haven’t heard of it, you simply can’t miss it as it’s right in the middle of town. Even if you aren’t staying at the Inn, I highly recommend you stop in for a peek. When the weather is chilly, you might be lucky enough to snag a seat by the 8 feet fire place in the entrance.

After checking into our room, we quickly gathered our things and took off to do some scenic driving. You really cannot get enough of the views during the fall. We stumbled upon the Sleepy Hollow Farm, which is a private farm many visit in order to snap some epic photos. There were a ton of people all scattered around, so we took our photo and got out of there! We both were in desperate need for a drink anyways, and I had my eye on the bar at the Woodstock Inn. Despite Woodstock being so small, there is a lot to do! With no set schedule of our own the next day, we took our morning pretty slow prior to heading out to New Hampshire. We popped into Vermont Flannel Company where I bought a cozy shirt, and we also had time to try Mon Vert Cafe, which is a cute trendy cafe right on main street. I recommend the breakfast sandwich, and the latte’s! I’m working our New Hampshire guide now, so stay tuned for that! We’re now back in Brooklyn, but I am already thinking about our next trip to the Northeast. If you’re thinking about a trip this fall, let’s chat about how I can help you book yours via the new travel division of Vita Brillanti Travel!
