Summer in Polkadots
True life, I’m addicted to polkadots. I cannot not get enough of polkadots for summer – it might be my favorite warm weather print to-date.
I found this effortless mini dress and I’m already thinking about all the ways to wear it. Originally the plan was to save this dress for Paris, but I just could not wait that long!
I think it’s important to embrace femininity if you want to and wear what makes you feel good
This dress was going to be one that I saved for paris but I couldn’t help myself and I had to wear it. I have a severe weakness when it comes to polkadots; Laura actually pointed out to me the other day that I wore polkadots two days in a row – not even realizing. Addicted.
This Lioness dress is under $100 and I know it’s going to be well worth every penny. There are so many occasions I can wear it for this summer and even into fall. It’s also a great date night dress or girls night dress. I could dress it up with some heels and more jewelry, and even make it more casual than I’m wearing it now – maybe a pony tail or top knot? The options are unlimited 🙂
What I love most about this dress, other than the polkadots, is the deep-v plunge. I don’t have anything that falls so low and there is something about this dress that is both sexy and cute, which I just adore. I think it’s important to embrace femininity (if you want to) and wear what makes you feel good, and this dress makes me feel amazing.
This particular day was one of my favorite days of summer to-date. We woke up so early on Saturday because it was one of the first sunny weekends we were to have in a while. We had a “slow” morning (for us), we grabbed coffee and some breakfast around the corner at a local deli and then went uptown to enjoy the morning sun. The city in the summer is just so amazing and there are always people around – no matter the time of day. Though, the mornings on the weekends are much less hectic, which is why we prefer to get up early and enjoy “some” quiet.
Looking forward to more days like this, spent with good company, lots of sun, and yummy drinks. Cheers to summer!
