11 Places You Should Consider Traveling to Post COVID

Many of our travel plans that were cancelled for 2020 are being reimagined for 2021. The frustrations travelers have felt over the past year has continued to deepen over the last few months, and for 2021, let’s not only take our 2020 trips, but plan new trips to places we may not have thought of before Coronoavirus! I’m determined to make 2021 the year we get travel back.

Many of my favorite trips in the last three years have been to less-popular destinations

I’m sure we’re all trying to figure out when our next trip will be. Many of us are continually canceling fresh plans because of rising cases of COVID-19. In fact, studies show that in the last few weeks, 55% of travelers now plan on avoiding all travel until Coronavirus cases decrease. Over 42% won’t travel until there is a proven vaccine. Kinda depressing! Outside of the data, the reality is, we just don’t know when we will be able to travel again in the same capacity we were in the past (I can’t wait to jump in this Cenote again!). When we do travel again, it’s going to look a lot different, and we’re likely going to be planning different types of trips as well; trips that are conducive to social distancing.

Many of my favorite trips in the last three years have been to less-popular destinations, and I’ve been working on list for you guys, which combine my favorite low-key destinations, along with some other’s that are top of mind for my 2021 travels.
