It’s so tough to decide where to stay in Italy. There are many incredible properties spanning all of the regions, each with their own unique flare, personality, and design. When designing trips for people, one of the first questions I ask, post kick-off is about their personal design, and style preferences.  I also love when any type of design-related Pinterest boards are shared with me, or anything that helps to allude to personal style preferences. A hotel can be top notch, but if the design elements don’t align with your preferences,  it’s a miss. But there is more  to consider beyond the design elements when choosing the perfect hotel;  preference in sunset, or sunrise facing rooms? patio dining, or private dining, wine cellar, or do we have big beer drinkers we need to consider, preferred appertivo (this matters, trust me!), and I always want to be sure that the available activities available on property align with the interests of the travelers.  I find so much joy in designing trips for people, and every detail matters.
