Taim to Eat

I chose to wear this top on my shoulders since it was cold. But It’s actually an off the shoulder top!

Outfit: Anthropologie Top (also love, this and this), Jean Jacket, last seen here (similar here, here and here), Corso Como flats, similar here – and LOVE these!

Sunday was a rough day. We had been out the night before at the Beer Mansion in Brooklyn, and for that reason, we got a late start to our Sunday.

I’m personally at a point in my life where 8 times out of 10, I prefer to go to bed early, and wake up early in order to have a full day of activities. The days of me being  totally OK with lying on the couch all day, binge watching Netflix are pretty much behind me. Something I never thought I’d grow out of!

Throughout our slow morning, my goal was to find someplace tasty to eat. I’d been going through @eatingnyc‘s photos when I came across one taken at Taim (Israeli vegetarian spot), and my mind was made up. I’ve heard a lot about Taim, but I’ve never eaten there myself. Holy cow it was SO good. I got a falafel sandwich ($8) and Jordan got the platter ($12) and we were both full to the brim after wards. I can’t wait to go back so soon!

Okay, let’s talk about this beautiful striped cotton bell-sleeve top! For one, as I mentioned {above} this is actually an off-the shoulder top, but I decided not to wear it like that today since I was a bit chilly. I paired it with one of my favorite jean jackets (similar here), but this summer it will be a perfect top with some skinny jeans and wedges or flats, and of course, wearing it as a true off-the shoulder.

Not pictured here is me walking into Rice to Riches, where I tried rice pudding for the first time. Let the records show, I don’t like rice pudding.
